Each one of us has at least one significant story to tell. Statistics estimate that 81% of the people in the United States feel they have a book somewhere inside them.
I believe that each one of you reading these words has something extremely worthwhile to share with your fellow human beings. Perhaps you can simplify yours into a turning point - A "Happy or Crappy - The Choice is Yours" moment.
Let me make it clear that these stories are not to be "Chicken Soup for the Soul" stories.
Nobody can do that better than Mark Victor Hansen and Jack Canfield. If you have been under a rock somewhere and haven't read any of these amazing stories, I highly recommend you go to www.chickensoup.com and enjoy the heck out of some or many of these wonderful, inspiring books.
I recently had my latest turning point moment. I was listening to a Mark Victor Hansen speaking presentation while on the October Bob Proctor Mexican Riviera cruise.
Mark pointed to me - sitting in the third row from the stage- and said - "See that guy? - He failed at retirement. Do you believe he is 68 years young?". He continued, "He needed a purpose - something more to do - a way to serve others. Please stand up Bruce. Tell them how you feel now. "A real A-HA moment for me!!"
Over the next two days on that Cruise my wife and I kept running into Mark and were blessed to have spent several very special hours around this amazing genius. These were incredible moments in time that inspired me to see a much bigger picture of life.
Sure, I went on that cruise to be around like - minded people who would inspire me to a higher plane in life. I wore my "Happy or Crappy - The Choice is Yours" T-shirt a great deal of the time on that cruise. People reacted in a very positive way. People asked where and how could they buy the t-shirt. This web site is the place.
But my REAL story is recognizing that each and every one of us is capable of re-creating ourselves at any point in our lives. This is our now. We all have a choice as to how to live our day. We can choose to be either "Happy or Crappy"! Which way feels better?
My twenty years in the real estate business provided a good income and a plethora of satisfying experiences. However, the time came time to say goodbye and "retire" - realize the fruits of my labor and just relax, chill and enjoy my life!
A funny thing happened - I got bored. Why? Because I did not have a strongly passionate purpose in my new life. It became clear that I needed to RE-CREATE myself.
Retirement became re-Firement.
Recreation became re-creation.
So a new journey began. I had decided to be an internet marketing specialist. After all - it is a good purpose. I can help others, live wherever I choose, make good money and most importantly - GIVE BACK. Serving others is really why we are on this planet. My goal is to donate large sums of money to worthwhile charities and to people in need. Give people a "fishing pole" (not just the fish) so that they can liberate themselves from their current reality - if it is not fulfilling their needs.
As I write these words - this is my new reality. I'm passionate and excited - life is an ever growing field of abundance. The universe provides unlimited abundant opportunities for every single human being everywhere on the planet.
Decide....Take action.
